For more than 40 years, Wayne B. Lippman has worked in public accounting, including 20 years with Price Waterhouse, where he was a tax partner in San Francisco and Oakland. He previously was managing tax partner of the Walnut Creek office for Price Waterhouse.

His specialty is tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and executives, as well as corporate tax planning for closely-held businesses. His vast experience includes investment, stock option, and financial planning, and real estate taxation.

Wayne is active in professional organizations and a past-chairman of the taxation committee of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, East Bay Chapter. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

Stephen M. Hilberg, E.A., MBA, Tax Manager

Stephen M. Hilberg has more than 30 years’ worth of experience in public and private accounting. Early in his career, he was an audit manager with Deloitte & Touche, providing consulting and auditing services to a diverse list of clients from medium-sized, closely-held companies to large publicly held ones. He then transitioned to private practice and spent 17 years as the chief financial officer for a major Bay-area retail chain.

Following retirement from a successful financial executive career, Stephen updated his tax education and became an enrolled agent. He has expertise in corporate and personal tax planning and compliance.

Stephen is a CPA in the State of New Jersey and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from New York University.
